KFC and Clem are absolutely in their element in this show, as they are able to discuss the Mets with their own comedic spin on it. Most sports podcasts face a challenge where they either sacrifice humor in order to be informative or Vice versa, but this podcast strikes a balance that gives baseball super fans the commentary they want while entertaining a casual fan. The funny thing is, I am far from a Mets fan. I hardly watch National league baseball at all. Despite this, I tune in all the time just because I enjoy their authentic discussions and reactions that are relatable to any fan. We’ve all overreacted to a loss or thought our team were contenders 20 games in. This podcast conveys these on top of adding a humorous spin. The podcast is for any fan of the game. You don’t need to know a single Mets player or watch a single Mets game to have a great time listening, and I suggest it to any fan!

meek phil’s voice is more annoying than espn broadcasts

I get there may not be a lot you can do as these interviews are done over video conference call but there is always like 5 mins of Audio that’s unintelligible scattered through the show. (Usually when KFC is speaking if that helps )

Good show. They tend to discuss Mets social media happenings, hypotethical circumstances, and past Mets experiences. Not much discussion about current play or roster. A lot of pessimism, and the team already gives me enough pessimism. Stop saying “cunsel”.

There is no more hysterically funny, insightful and enjoyable Production. The boys have a chemistry that undoubtedly is from years of friendship and it shows. They flow into each other. Not really a negative, but I wish they would produce more. They episodes drop Friday and I often do not get to listen to them until Sunday when they could have won or lost an entire series. Still I find myself wondering what the guys would say. This is an awesome podcast and the most entertaining Mets podcast around. Thank You guys for producing it.

After the Barstool at the Ballpark game which the Mets will lose in historic fashion and KFC chooses to go to the game rather than Pup Punk the big C word finally gets dropped. Then he heads to Pup Punk to perform Second round TIKO

The Cuncel is coming June 19th after a sweep at the hands of the Braves. 10 games back with this bullpen. Seasons Over

The guys say everything I’m thinking. From MFA to the Cuncel, this is the therapy I need after the first 2.5 months of the season. This team is unbelievable and I keep getting sucked in somehow. Great job, keep it up.

After losing 3 of 4 to the marlins and two out of 3 to the nats at home (capped off with a bullpen collapse to relinquish the lead). Top it all off with a slumping Alonso because of his victory in the home run derby.

Mets blow the postponement game. Then blow a lead in the Friday night cap, more specifically Familia. Cuncel The Saeson button is pounded

Predicting a Cuncel on Sunday June 23rd. Mets lose both games on Friday night to the cardinals then proceed to get swept. Go 2-5 against the Braves and Cubs. 3 blown saves by Diaz and they announce after the game on Sunday that Diaz needs season ending elbow surgery.

I really hope it’s not true, but I believe the Cuncel of 2019 will occur on June 20th, 2019 at about 11pm.

This years Cuncel will occur on Thursday afternoon June 27 in the city of Brotherly Love, at the conclusion of an 11-game road trip. KFC, stomach full from some day game dogs, will issue the Cuncel after the Phillies complete a 4-game sweep of the Mets. Jason Vargas aka ACEon aka Big Ugly will throw an 8 inning gem, prompting MFA to call for a contract extension. Alonso and McNeil will each hit a HR and the Mets will have a 5-0 lead heading to the 9th. Because the Mets haven’t had any save chances lately, Mickey will call on Edwin Diaz in a non-save situation. Diaz will walk the bases loaded, strike out 2 batters, walk in a run but then appear to get the final out on a slow roller to 3rd. However, Todd from Toms River throws the ball away and 2 runs score. With Diaz already at 40 pitches and Jay Bruce up next, Mickey will go to the bullpen and call on newly acquired lefty specialist Oliver Perez to get the final out. After Ollie throws 2 wild pitches, Bruce launches a 2-0 slider 500 feet to walk it off for the Phils. After the game, Mickey will credit the Mets for battling and hanging tough on a hot summer day at the end of a long road trip. The loss drops the Mets to a season high 8 games under .500 and 10 games out of 1st place. In addition to KFC officially dropping the C word, Frank the Tank’s starts a fast food only diet and doesn’t step foot in another pool for the rest of the summer. PS - I wear a size Large

Have a great series and win 2/3 against the Braves only to go to Chicago to get destroyed in a 3/4 games and repeat the process in Philly. God have Mercy on our souls. WE GOTTA BELIEVE

I’m pretty I’ve already sent one in but it hasn’t come up so I’ll reiterate my prediction. (I’d love for this team to make Postseason but...) July 7th is my official Cuncel date prediction. Mets will go 8-7 up until June 28th, then lose 2 of the 3 against Atlanta, the worst part being that Polar Bear Pete will be taken out one of the games for Heat Exhaustion and will start his IL stint for rest of the season. Then Mets get absolutely annihilated by the Yanks on the 2nd and 3rd, Yanks score about a total of 18 runs between the 2 games. Then the abnormal happens the day after 4th of July: a Met Player will actually poop their pants mid gameagainst Philly and have to come out of the game due to a stomach virus/bug. Harper hits 3 bombs in the 3 game stretch and Hoskins hits a grand slam on the finale game on July 7th, marking the announcement of the C-word for the 2019 New York Mets. Mets lost Polar Bear Pete, we got swept by our three biggest rivals, Chase Utley is laughing somewhere, Tebow gets called up mid August, and Mickey remains at the helm.
