Please, please, please upgrade to a better microphone or stop yelling. The feedback makes me turn this podcast off or skip episodes more often than not anymore because it sounds like a drive thru speaker. There’s also random cuts and edits where you’ll suddenly be back 10 minutes in the conversation. The quality has declined significantly over the past couple years. Just not what it used to be, unfortunately.

Frequently unfocused and commonly with poor audio

“CJ Stroud is the best QB in OSU history” just because of stats or mechanics? If those stats are against Rutgers, Indiana, and a depleted Utah secondary then yeah I guess? What about against Michigan’s secondary? Notre Dame’s secondary? Penn State’s secondary the past 2 years? I can forgive bad takes but this is so bad that I had to write a review. C’mon Jordan 😂

Get rid of Jordan and Dante, please. Could you be more blatantly racist? The bit about Hayden Hagler being a white TE at a HBCU and dropping a potentially game-tying TD was bad enough; but then going on to say that Mike Leach was “from the south, so he was probably racist” and insinuating that he had faults like supporting Trump in his campaign… that’s offensive, and I’m not even white. There shouldn’t be any place for this kind of racism on this podcast or anywhere near this football program, and I hope those in charge at LGHL will reconsider EVER having these two (especially Jordan) on this podcast again.

Every other Thursday during the summer is amazing, and love the shows during the season. Five stars for Bucketheads, Connor and Justin kill it!

Listening to one guy do dishes or something in background is really annoying. Good analysis but all that background noise is distracting.

I enjoyed the cast but complaining about cold and snow against TTUN in Ohio is ridiculous. We aren’t Arizona St. open a window. They have Warm weather recruits too. It’s cold in late Nov! Other than that keep up the good work.

Landed an interview with Holtmann and really enjoyed their well thought out questions. The guys really do bring a lot of effort and research to CBB talk and we’re in the dead heat of the basketball off-season. If you’re not subscribed now make sure you are for BBall season.

Have been listening to buck off for a while now and have to say I am impressed with Chris. Buck off has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts for sports

I have been an on and off listener to your podcast, depending on topic and length, but your episodes for the “I want to go back” are fantastic and fascinating. I have learned so much about the old school history of OSU football and college football in general. Keep them coming and keep up the great work!

I give everything 5 stars or nothing- don’t want to hurt someone with a 3 or 4 star rating. Except this show. I gave them 2 stars because they featured an SJW Urban basher. When he left I gave them 3, and their show improved markedly. I would have given them 4, but they started adding additional content that wasn’t good. So I didn’t change my rating. Now I find that so many of their shows are terrible that I don’t listen to it. The founder is very good, he is rarely on. They had someone who was very good, but they lost him because of the California subcontractor labor law changes. It popped up this morning on my feed, and I realized that I hadn’t listened to it since the scUM game. I don’t miss it. Unsubscribing today.

Two weeks in a row we have to listen to the sound of a dot matrix printer as background to George Eisner and Ben Goren. Any chance you can move that thing or find a better spot to record?

Interesting concept. However one of the speakers seems to be very robotic reading from a script the entire time making the podcast very hard to not be bored.

Stop chuckling after every comment. You discredit everything you say.

I’d like to rate this podcast higher but the ignorant comments about Urban Meyers has worn thin with me and I’m sure most other listeners.

I enjoy their perspective. They are worth a listen.

Yet failing miserably. I used to really enjoy the podcast as I tend to fall more in the realist side of the spectrum. Not sure why but these guys are moving from realism to pure negativity. Colton starts every hot take with a qualifying statement that he doesn’t want to be “hot take guy”. Patrick “giggles” Mayhorn can’t make a point with out snickering at every comment. I am hopeful with Urban and his dreadful 82-9 record leaving, the will perk up. Once we start losing more, maybe their negativity with actually be justified. Get better, guys.

I use to enjoy this podcast but the straight insults of Urban Meyer are hard to keep hearing. It was funny at first but it’s hard to keep laughing at another man’s misery.

Have to update this to 1-star, I can’t even listen anymore with the constant negativity on the team and over-sarcasm throughout EVERY podcast by Patrick Mayhorn. It’s become cringeworthy to listen to which is unfortunate because I once enjoyed this podcast.

I love this podcast. I started listening a few months ago, got food poisoning one weekend in an incident completely unrelated to the podcast, and then binged a ton of episodes at once. I've really enjoyed listening to you guys find your rhythm. I also appreciate your different take on Ohio State football. My only suggestion would be releasing table defining Patrick’s various meanings of the word, “good.” Ha!

I've enjoyed listening to Patrick, Matt, Colton, and Alexis for over a year now, but I really knew this was an unvarnished, non-"homer" look at OSU athletics with the way they covered the Meyer/Smith scandal, calling it unacceptable and embarrassing. How a true Buckeye fan couldn't agree is beyond me, but I gather some did, and still do. Ignore the haters, everybody. Learn about our favorite team like a mature, veteran fan. And Go Bucks

Couldn't even get through this last episode. Both guys just taking a big ole Doo Doo on the program. Both sound like entitled brats.

Hey chicken littles, you are not at practice seeing the efforts by these great players that are waiting to get on the field. I give the benefit of the doubt to Urban and his staff to know what they are doing. I know you both have extensive experience second guessing but sometimes players and coaches don’t execute and look like crap. That is this years team. When my kids were young playing sports and a coach did something they didn’t agree with they always said “the coach is an idiot!” Thanks for bringing that memory back to me.

Last episode was the best so far. You guys hit your stride. Really enjoy the OSU and general CFB takes. Go bucks!

Decent content. But the guy on with Colton denning, (mayhorn maybe?) is out there, more worried about coaches outfits and laughing after every not funny comment that comes out of his mouth. Coltons pretty good, seems knowledgeable and reviews the good and bad of the team. Just wish he had a better co host so he could get a better review like he deserves. If your concerned about what outfit to wear to the dance this weekend then listen to mayhorn.

One of the things I look for when searching for new Buckeye podcasts is Buckeye football knowledge when talking about Ohio State. Too often I find podcasts where guys mispronounce names, incorrectly quote coaches, stats, or plays, etc. I’ll give these guys credit: they usually know what they’re talking about in that regard. Where I struggle with this podcast is their stance on Ohio State football. It seems like a lot of podcast are either Ohio State fans talking about how good Ohio State is or Ohio State fans talking about how terrible Ohio State is. This podcast is the far right “Ohio State is terrible at everything” podcast where the guys talking seem to freak out when Ohio State doesn’t win impressively every week. Patrick is especially strong in this regard. It’s difficult to listen to a couple guys constantly freak out about minor issues with the team. I understand Ohio State has some weaknesses this season in 2018, but it’s tough to listen to a podcast that spends 2/3rds of each show criticizing a football team that’s 7-0 and ranked #2. Yes, this football has obvious weaknesses that show this team is not as good at Alabama. However, Ohio State is good enough to win the B1G and make the playoff. Those two accomplishments right there deserve more recognition and this team deserves more praise that criticism. Will listen to this podcast here and there, but would love to see these guys spend a little more time talking about what Ohio State does well instead of spending most of the show discussing why Ohio State isn’t good enough to beat Alabama.

These guys are entertaining and well informed. They know the history of the program and they are critical when it’s warranted. Objective and almost professional. Perfect

This is just what Buckeye fans need to hear...no sugarcoating the bad coaching, all the needed love for Demario McCall, bringing the necessary fire. Bring it all day, fellas...

The worst buckeye pod out there. Guys have no insight or in-depth info on Ohio state. Just gives a overview bland national media approach to the team. Went full #MeToo on Urban as if he were the alleged abuser. No objective point of view. Buckeye Talk pod blows this out of the water!

I’m not saying that you guys can’t be critical of Ohio State, but you literally just spent the last hour calling the team subpar and the coaches abusive. You guys border on pure sanctimony and frankly I think the team and the coaching staff have a better track record than you are portraying. I’m not sure how that can ever rub Buckeye Nation the right way. Maybe you’re just having a bad night.

It's a great insight for Buck Nuts across the Heartland. Great interviews an conversations. Only thing I could ask for is having an increase in volume. Not loud enough for me to listen in my earbuds during work. But would completely recommend this cast to all OSU Football fans
