If these episodes are as good as Jay’s book,

    Audio quality
There are some extremely interesting episodes here. It’s a shame the audio quality is so substandard. Some appear to be recordings with more than one participant on the phone and background noise from the open lines make it a struggle to follow. Studio versions would’ve been excellent. Oh well.

    Good stories, rough presentation
Jay is a good person. Audio sounds as if it was recorded on a potato. Jay typically doesn’t introduce guests or let them introduce themselves, so episodes with multiple guests may challenge you to determine who is speaking.

    Enjoyable stories from Mets past
A great idea. 20 minute interviews with ex Mets from 1962-2019. A very entertaining listen. However, in true Mets tradition, there had to be a serious audio problem on some. Jay sounds like he’s talking from down the hall. It’s the one show where the guests sound great and the host is sometimes indecipherable!
