    Love ARon and Jim
I really enjoy your podcast coverage. You are die hard fans of the shows you cover and that passion shows. I like your research and smart analysis and I love that you don’t sugarcoat things that went wrong with an episode or series. Stay independent.

    Another solid Baldmove Podcast
The best Mr Robot coverage around. I’ve been listening to Jim & A-Ron for several years now. Every show they cover they do with an approach that helps me connect and enjoy the show more throughly. They give their overall impressions, and then a show recap, and then some listener questions and feedback. It’s really the perfect panel discussion. They could never be described as insiders, or the snobby, stuffy kind of podcaster. Just down to earth and relatable. An underrated element to their shows: their voices are pleasant to listen to. Good audio quality, timely releases. They also offer a monthly or annual club subscription to get your podcast ad-free and get right into the coverage. Highly recommend them for coverage of all your favorite shows and movies.
  • Hints!!!!!!!!!!!
Gave them a chance but is a giant “meh”
They spend way too much time thinking they can write the show better than creators. One of the guys even thinks he created a clever catch-all term to criticize the “basic economics” of the show. Topdab? Seriously? And when one of them do decide to properly research a topic (Albert Camus’ the Stranger for example) the other dismisses it as lazy writing because he wasn’t able to catch the reference. Check the ego. Why put out a fan podcast if all you do is ignore the point and artistry and just nitpick at stuff you don’t initially understand and blatantly refuse to look up? It’s the last episode of the series and you still dismiss the mental illness aspects by saying you can’t bother to research and become familiar with the topic of the entire show.

    Hello, Ego
The arrogance is unbearable- these guys are too intelligent for the dumbed down economics of the show? I think they missed the point just a little bit. It’s almost as if they didn’t watch.

One of best Mr Robot podcasts
Offers interesting recaps and analysis, although I’m not sure if Aron actually likes the show.

    Honest Podcasting
Good breakdowns of every episode with real commentary about what does and doesn’t work, while still respecting what’s great about the show.

    Great Podcast
Been listening since the beginning. BTW, the woman who plays Olivia is Andy Garcia’s daughter.

One of the best if not THE BEST
Love their discussion on Mr Robot. I almost feel like we are kicking back, having a beer and I am just listening to their thoughts. Appreciate that they highlight metaphors and underlying meaning from the show.

    Pros
These guys know their stuff, they put in the work and are experienced pros. Great chemistry and funny back and forth, can’t recommend them enough for this podcast and any other Podcast they do at Bald Move

The best Mr Robot podcast out there right now. Jim and ARon do an excellent job of covering what happened during the episode. For those that love ARG and theories they do a section at the end full of listener feedback and theory discussion.

Seem to be copying other casts now
There are better ones out there.

    Lazy
I love Mr. Robot and probably did things a bit backwards. I watched it all a few times (I’m a late comer fan of the Oscar winner), then joined the Reddit sub, then subscribed to three podcasts. This is the last one and I will probably unsubscribe. These guys have zero insight. They provide no analysis at all. They can’t even keep Darlene and Angela straight. They never bothered to even learn the names of supporting characters. They don’t like the show and have no real interest in talking about it. They griped about the big reveals in seasons one and two because they were too easy, and ignored the fact that they were SUPPOSED TO BE. I’ve made it halfway through the second season and they have not once mentioned the music, which is an integral part of the show. THEY DON’T LIKE JOANNA! They drone on about ridiculous theories and don’t mention interesting plot twists. I am amazed they do this full time.

    Thank the Lord...
This podcast is my lifeline to comprehending this oddball show. I love it but I would have been so lost during season 2.

    Deep Dive into each episode
These guys are great. They spend time on Reddit so I don't have to! A funny, insighful recap of each episode.

    Awesome pod for unheralded show
Just like all bald move pods, this pod is great. Still don’t get why Mr. Robot doesn’t get more attention. Unreal show. Bizarre that it’s on USA.

    Awesome
Love these guys. Such in-depth discussion on many of my fav shows. I’m pumped now that I’m a new subscriber and supporter to be able to dive into their movie discussions. “Two thumbs up for me, Gene.”
  • Anarchist Cat
    Decent
I listen to a few of their pods. I like this one for the most part. Despite their moronic take that anyone who doesn’t fully accept that capitalism is the best and only option is simply young and childish.

    Must have for fans
Bald Move is an absolute necessity for any MR Robot fan to explore the universe without having to hack the world themselves.

    Highly Recommended
I'm a TV fanatic and I subscribe to as many Jim and Aron podcasts as I can. They have thoughtful discussions and have introduced me to a new way to watch television; I now find myself thinking about why certain camera angles were used, what's in the background, who directed the episode, what were the lyrics to that song that was playing - if you want to be more than a casual viewer and truly understand the intricasies of what the showmakers have done, listen to these guys!

    Top Notch!
You can expect all Bald Move podcasts to be top quality. This one is no different.

    Great Podcast
    Very insightful and detailed

    Jeesh!!
Whoa! Sarcasm, anger, and self-righteousness have no place in good criticism. Of course, it doesn't seem that good criticism is your goal here.

    Great Companion to Mr Robot
I really enjoy the deep dive into the show and all the theories they discuss

    Great Mr. Robot Cast
This podcast is awesome. Stuff gets a little speculative at points, but many of the predictions pay off

    Great Mr. Robot Coverage!
Great content as expected from the guys at Bald Move!

Perfect companion to the Mr Robot show
I never knew I missed so many things in the viewings of Mr Robot..., until I listened to this AMAZING podcast. Two guys keeping it real, breaking down all the geekness of the show that a layman techie would never have picked up on. I love this brand. I look fwd to hearing some other of their pods. Highly recommend!

So negative it's getting hard to listen to.
Don't listen to this show if you like Mr. Robot. So cynical and depressing it's tough to listen to

    Best podcast team around
I listen to the podcast before I watch Mr Robot. It makes my viewing much more enjoyable. Insightful honest and funny.

    Not a Strong Effort
I have been listening to this podcast since they began this season (season 2) and every week I thought I'd give it one more shot until I finally unsubscribed. The two podcasts do not seem excited about the show that they decided to give effort and attention to. While their background and sometimes-applied legwork gives great insight into the tech-side of Mr. Robot (it's a multifaceted show, not just tech!), it seemed like they regularly didn't put effort into analysis. As a microcosm example, it is common for them to not only mispronounce major characters' names, but to not even be sure who they were. Not a terrible podcast, but hardly up to snuff with the show itself, so there are better options out there.

Why are you reviewing this show?
I've never taken the time to review a podcast. But, before I unsubscribe, I wanted to leave a brief note. I listen to after shows because I love the show. You guys hate this show. Your foul-mouthed, negative, know-it-all approach is truly repulsive. For god's sake, season two is almost over and you can't even pronounce the names of the characters. You are embarrassing yourselves. And, Dudes. Know your audience.
  • Magfx
    Great addition to the show
Really enjoyed the first season of Mr. Robot. I'm always elated when Bald Move covers a television show I watch. So with the second season of Mr. Robot I couldn't be happier to have a podcast recap and analysis for a show that is begging for a deep dive into the universe. Great podcast Jim and Aron!!

A Brilliant Synopsis of a Brilliant Show
Thank you guys for making my favorite show even better.
  • Squirrelygirl27
    EXCELLENT ANALYSIS!
These guys never fail to please for their in depth, intelligent and mulit-sourced analysis of any show they review. They are intelligent, sophsticated, broad in scope, and complete in any show they review. Do be advised that someime their shows do run long, but I had never regreted the investment in time. I have followed them through an increasing number of podcasts, and have never been disappointed in their content. P. S. "Terrible take on Mr. Robot" is flat out incorrect since I've listened to the podcasts from the first season, and they make reference to them during the second season.

    A gift
Listening to this podcast from A.Ron and Jim is a gift each Friday. These guys really break down the show, theories, and ideas with heart and wit. I'm on board with pretty much anything Bald Move podcasts.
  • Gunnerstaal
    Detailed and entertaining
You can tell the preparation and effort put into the show. Perfect blend of analysis and humor. Top notch.
  • Skgates
They do the hard work so I don't have to.
I can be an armchair nerd thanks to Jim and A.Ron—they dig through Reddit and explore the Easter eggs of Mr. Robot so I can just sit back and watch. Insightful coverage that definitely enhances my viewing experience. Thanks guys!

    Excellence you've come to expect.
Bald move does it again. Always the best reviews and in depth analysis. Great insights and theory discussion. These guys are the best in the biz for a reason !!!

    Too Lazy
This is the first podcast review I've ever left, across hundreds I've listened to over the course of a decade. This podcast in particular is so aggravating to me that it has sparked this single burst of agitation in hopes that either the creators will read it and improve their show or that I will spare some other listener a lot of wasted time. I found Bald Move while I was searching for a good Game of Thrones podcast, and I truly enjoy the product they put out for that series. But their work for Mr. Robot is sub-par and suggests that they are more focused on just releasing as much content as they can and are less concerned with the quality of it. What could be so frustrating, you might ask? The fact that they openly meander around questions of which characters are related, who said what, when a certain event happened; that they dive into the complicated and intentionally detailed structure of this show without even taking the time to refresh their bearings and understand the status of the characters; that they don't even take the time to figure out how to pronounce "bourgeoisie" correctly on one of the most anti-capitalist shows on TV (really, they spend a minute just talking about how they should pronounce it). This podcast adds no value to the experience of trying to enjoy this show, and if you have even a basic level of familiarity with the plot or the concepts then listening to this will make you go crazy. The longest riffs they go on are about unanswerable and mostly unimportant questions, like "What do you think Elliot was thinking about when he told Darlene he loved her?" Sometimes they just wonder aloud whether they should talk about a certain topic right now, or later in the episode... and then they do that three or four more times in the same episode before finally relenting and talking about it (see: their first forays into the "prison" theory this season). Even recounting it in this review post is a frustrating enough experience to make me lament the net amount of time wasted by this podcast. Summary: this podcast is perfect for you if you're looking to listen to two guys that remember some of last season, saw the latest episode, read some stuff on Reddit, and then decided to kill 90 minutes talking about it all, and then decided that not a single moment of their discussion warranted deletion for the sake of a better listener experience. This is not the way to do podcasts, guys.

    Superb Coverage
These guys consistently provide thoughtful, engaging, and sometimes humorous reviews of episodes. They do an excellent job answering all the questions I have at the end of episodes. They also do a phenomenal job enhancing my enjoyment and engagement for a show through pointing out intriguing aspects I missed, accurately describing scenes and their emotions, and theory crafting/exploring. I found Baldmove with their GOT podcast, and now they've become a standard part of my viewing experience. Keep up the great work guys!

    Wh1t3R0s3 4 Pr3s!!!
Love this show, and love the podcast!!! Great show that will totally screw with your head - you'll never second guess what your eyes see with any other show as much as Mr. Robot. Esmail really has a chance to do some cool stuff with this show, I'm hoping for 3-4 seasons. So many Easter eggs and foreshadowing, Keep it up Ba1dM0v3!

    Glad I started watching
First I heard of this show was from these guy's mentioning it on other show podcasts. Gave it a try out of curiosity and am glad I did. As with the other shows they cover, they do a great job of bringing background and perspective. Keep up the good work Jim and A.Ron!

    Thanks Jim & Aron
I hadn't heaed of "Mr. Robot" before. But when Jim and Aron said they were doing a podcast I knew it would be worth looking into. Glad I did! Good show. Great podcast!
  • Cardboard_Bender
    Not a podcast worthy show!
Once again these guys are behind the quality TV curve by talking about this hacky pretentious obnoxious show. The creater is overrated and the scripts and directing are below the standards of the big boy premium channels. If ratings are what you are after this is horrendous with a .3 and likely to dip to the point of cancellation after the season. If you can do this you could have easily stuck with The Americans. This summers hit show is "The Night Of" so you should bail now on Robot and cover this far superior show before you fall behind like with True Detective. Overall just cover better shows! And no WD GOT Leftovers are the 3 worst shows this century.

    Another great podcast
Love the GOT podcast and this is just as good.
