I’m not terribly interested in sports, but I do like stories about the crazy things that happen in sports. My husband is a big sports fan and this podcast is something we can really share. Great stories told skillfully.

I love just about anything from SB Nation, but I especially love Spencer Hall. If you all are not listening to this podcast you need to. Very rarely do you get scholarly engagement of a topic presented with the mirth and humanity of this show.

Great podcast even if your not into sports! highly recommend!

These are the types of stories that I love. The ridiculous stuff that happened behind the scenes is what people want to hear. Stories so outrageous you have to wait for some unspoken statute of limitations to expire before you can even begin to consider what happened as funny/entertaining and not having to worry about personal or legal ramifications. Those stories are the best stories. Keep this podcast going PLEASE. P.S. It aint a podcast of ridiculous sports stories until you work in the hijinks of one Kenny “The Snake” Stabler. Roll Tide Spencer.

I have only listened to a few episodes so far but I thoroughly enjoyed them and I am looking forward to the remaining episodes. Informative and humorous to say the least!!!

The whole series has just been incredible so far. Really well researched, terrific guests, great writing, etc. The second episode about the Cannonball Run should be a movie. And not silly like the Needham film. Legit, this gentleman’s story about HIS Cannonball Run would make a really good movie. Make it happen, Holly and Spencer!

Started following Spencer and lots of the other sb nation folks on twitter, followed them to their various spots. This pod seems a little more “This American Life”-y than most of their stuff as it’s stories told in acts and not just off-the-cuff bantering.

Man this sounds incredible, this bangs! Edit: after the first episode, it’s awesome! Really well produced, good interview mixed in, and Spencer is great at story telling! Hopefully we’ll see a cameo from the rest of the Shutdown Fullcast, the only college football podcast.
