    Not for me.
I was so looking forward to this podcast! And I bet there are valuable messages throughout each episode. Unfortunately, I just canā€™t get past the pleading tone. Begging me to change my mindset is a great way to make me not want to. Petty? Maybe. But I know I canā€™t possibly be the only one. Not even finishing the first episode, turning it off soon as Iā€™m done with this review. Bummer.

    Decent Podcast
The topics on here are good topics. The host appears to be reading his script, however, as opposed to a more conversational or personable style that other podcasters use. He doesnā€™t really express his opinion and just merely reads his script. Sure, he uses inflection, but it still sounds like someone reading a script or excerpt rather than having a radio personality. Except for when he occasionally interviews someone else. His voice is also an acquired taste. Otherwise, the show topics are great positive topics to feed your mind with positivity.

    Volume on music
Whoever advised you that it would be a good idea to steadily increase the volume on the closing music after a podcast was WRONG. It is remarkably annoying especially when walking with earbuds. I have to either pull out my earbuds to relieve the shock on my eardrums or retrieve my phone from a pocket and adjust the volume.

    Empowering
So many things have held me back in my life, because either there wasnā€™t the opportunity or I felt like I didnā€™t deserve it. I finally realize that the only person that could take control of my life was me. I got out of the situation that I was in and found a way to realize my true potential and get out the negative mindset. Thank you Scott for this insightful and eye opening episode!

    Thank you
I love listening to your podcasts and reading your weekly letters. I feel stuck in a whirlwind of stress and anxiety mostly due to situational circumstances. Could you address how anxiety can make us forgetful at times on things that have always been part of our routine or word retrieval with vocabulary that is a big part of our typical routine/ life. Thanksā€¦. Keep doing what youā€™re doing your podcasts are awesome!! Karen from a town south of Boston

Why Discipline Is the Most Important Quality To Have In Life
This episode really resonated with me. Coming from a military background and now transitioning to running my own real estate syndication company, discipline is how I have become successful and have been able to help other veterans build wealth and passive income. Awesome podcast!

    Favorite Motivational Podcast
Back in the summer of 2019, I was miserable with my job and struggling to figure out what I wanted to do next. My mom sent me Scottā€™s podcast and I probably binged every episode that was available at the timeā€” they were mostly focused on career goals and passions back then (and I did eventually leave that company). Since the pandemic began, Iā€™ve rediscovered The Motivated Mind podcast a few times and, funnily enough, it always seems to be right when I need the help! Over time, my problems and life goals have taken on various shapes and sizes ā€” but Iā€™d like to sincerely thank Scott for guiding me through these transitional (and inevitable) periods. I want to be a more positive person with a more fulfilling career path AND home life, and I highly recommend this podcast for anyone else who may feel the same.

Really Great , But Curses too Much
Love this guy! He always manages to make some really great points towards my self help journey , and gives a lot of advice on how to grow my confidence! I just wish he wouldnā€™t curse so much lol. Itā€™s kind of a jab whenever he does.

Been listening to this podcast for the last 2 years..
Super helpful whenever I feel down in life and in my career. Iā€™m an immigrant and traveled a lot, left friendships and careers and had to start over multiple times. Itā€™s nice to listen to a podcast with great advice when I feel like I had no one else to ask advice from. Thank you so much for sharing amazing lessons every week. Your podcast has helped me in so many ways, through the pandemic and lifeā€™s challenges. More power to you!

How did I just find this podcast?
Iā€™m a junior in college studying exercise physiology, finals are coming up this week and this podcast really pulled me out of my funk. With the weather changing, the holidays being right around the corner, and of course, finals next week, Iā€™ve been struggling to find motivation. This was playing in the background while I got ready this morning, but a quote that really stuck with me was ā€œI was in a place of physically pushing rather than mentally pulling.ā€ I stopped what I was doing to write it down in my journal and I sat and reflected with it. Lately I feel like Iā€™m going through the actions of living, but not really living. Iā€™ve felt dull and empty, but I havenā€™t understood why. I get into the gym, I go outside and hike and bike, but it wasnā€™t fulfilling this sense of emptiness. Iā€™ve been taking care of myself physically but not mentally, this episode made me realize that.
  • Stop thinking and DO IT!
    Whatever
I always liked his podcast best when he didnā€™t feel the need to broadcast his picture on the cover like all the other arrogant podcasters out there. Thatā€™s just my opinion.
  • DaddyGameBoi
    Great stuff in here!
I have a dream of learning Swift and becoming an app developer. Howeverā€¦ I have such a hard time staying motivated. I have a full time job, married, and 3 boys. Finding time to buckle down is very hard. So I got on apple podcasts and found this awesome motivation podcast! Thanks!

    Totally levels everything
You ever feel like you just donā€™t have what it takes or that it feels like the world is stacked against you. I felt this way. The mindset after applying what Iā€™ve learned in this podcast has changed my views and output in my daily life exponentially. I get more done in my pottery studio and feel better about my overall mental/physical health. Give this podcast a listen and I know you will find value in the words and be soothed by his calm demeanor.

    Another Point of View
This podcast hosted by Scott, helps put certain topics in life, in a new light of perspective. Also helps by giving you motivation and guidance from another angle on how to help solve whatever issue you might be going through in life. So if your having issues that might need either another point of view or just some helpful guidance look to Scott to help out with that, and hopefully afterwards you too will be on your way to success.

A hard pill to swallow in podcast form
Scott does a fantastic job in providing motivational mindset by remaining blunt and honest. In life, the truth hurts. We shouldnā€™t cut corners, doubt ourselves, and not hold one another accountable. Scott ensures in each episode that he puts an emphasis on these areas, and much more. If youā€™re looking a for a reality check, this podcast is right for you.

    Must listen for mental health!
Scottā€™s insight on how to manage anxiety put a new lense on how I view my own everyday anxiety. One major takeaway for me after listening to his latest episode is how we need to lean into fear to open gateways of opportunity. Often times weā€™re not able to access new possibilities if we allow fear to get the best of us, and anxiety will continue to ensue. Also the things we fear the most usually donā€™t come true, itā€™s all fabricated in our minds. Scott really explained this concept so clearly and he was able to offer a new, fresh perspective. I love how his discussions are so palatable and relatable too. Highly recommend Scottā€™s podcast!

    Always on point

There is something to be learned by everyone no matter what your age is. You have a great way of putting things into perspective and easily understood . Thanks for doing this podcast!!
