As much as I love the show, the Super Bowl episode was lackluster. I expected many more bets to be picked by Ross and Steve

Fezzik is the only redeeming part of the show.

While not perfect (e.g., giving season results absent vig is misleading, especially if you make a lot of -120 bets), this is the best sports betting pod out there in my opinion, because it takes a more quantitative and statistical approach as compared with those that are purely narrative-based and seem to assume that the outcome of a game is a just-so certainty vs one of a range of potential outcomes that all have varying degrees of likelihood. I’ve never blindly made or avoided a bet based on the discussion, but this show was helpful in informing how to think about the betting landscape more broadly, especially when I had just gotten into it. Both hosts are also imminently likable.

All they do is take teasers . Anyone knows anything knows this rule already. They very rarely take anything straight . Take a drink every time they say “ teaser “ you will be hammered

It is amazing having Fezzik without RJ Bell’s ego getting in the way! Would be the best podcast on the market if they spent more time on each game. Going more in depth about personnel and injuries. Too many ads for how short of a podcast it is.

Ross and Steve are like the Odd Couple it’s great having two such different personalities offer their perspective on games and gambling.

If we’re beating Tampa -115 because it’s a similar line to the giants/vikings game and Tampa is better than minny, shouldn’t we also be betting giants in week 1?

They grade every bet at even odds (it’s the “Even Money” podcast, I get it) — but the grading system provides a misleading success rate. I tracked both Ross and Fez through the entire 2023 NFL season and playoffs. Following the SB, Ross claimed he was “up 7 units” for the year. In actuality, when taking the vig into account, Ross was *down 17 units*. Fez was allegedly “up 32.3 units”, but with the vig Fez was *up 19 units* (which is good!). So, lesson is, don’t take Ross’ picks too seriously. Fez is truly a pro, so he has earned his credibility. Fez occasionally acknowledges they don’t take the vig into account, but, casual listeners are getting a misleading account of how good these picks really are.

No betting advice will ever be truly accurate but this is actually better than most Maybe some more winners this year though LOL

So Ross is just teasing every single possible combination of teams. Factorial? This is dumb. With the juice there is no way he’s made a profit this year.

I think Ross is starting to become aware that the teasers are lame and with good reason. It’s a shame, I like Ross and this used to be a great podcast but it’s at a point with this show where Steve doesn’t commit to any picks and instead just leans once in a while and does wayyyy too many teasers to pad his unit numbers. Teasers aren’t remotely impressive and not what you listen to an nfl betting podcast for.

I first heard Ross as a guest on The Dan Patrick Show, and would always watch the YouTube clip, if I missed a DP Shoe appearance. Then I started hearing him doing games on the radio on weekends, and he was terrific. Now I’ve been introduced to podcasts on Spotify — and I’m glad to see Ross is active here, too. Who says “Nice guys finish last?” Not in this case, anyway. Keep up the good work!

I’ve listened to a lot of sports betting podcasts and none of them have the balance of a professional bettor and former NFL player like Steve & Ross. Great perspectives, great analysis, great chemistry. And most importantly, these guys are winners!

Been listening to Ross and Steve well before legalized gambling in AZ. These guys know things that non-pros just don’t know. Actionable info in a 30 minute short format. And Ross is really good on Westwood One game calls. Keep up the good work.

The fellas have informed and well thought out reasons for selections. Pace is good and accountability is there too. Ross got a little carried away when he referred to the replacement guest as “the great” so and so.

This is my third year listening to the even money podcast. Thanks to the comprehensive review of ever game and different betting angles, I’m now able to anticipate line moves and have more confidence in my own picks. The show drew me in for the weekly insight, but I listen every Tuesday to hear the colorful banter between Ross and Steve. Keep it up guys!

I’ve been betting NFL for 20 years and losing for 20 years. In the past 6 weeks since listening to this podcast and one other I have gone 9-3-2. I also hit a 6 team parlay!! Love the fact that the show reviews the prior week picks before talking about the current week along with tracking their season record for total units bet up or down. Hearing Steve Fezzik talk about his bets from the prospective of a professional gambler is also unique to the podcast.

Steve, a sports betting professional, and Ross break down each game and give you their opinion as if they were betting their own money on the game today. Love it when they agree and it’s a “best bet”.
