    No conclusion. Nothing to it.
I was pretty disappointed. There was nothing to this story other than what was already discovered when it happened. Pretty lame.

    Good not great
This is a classic storytelling podcast with no real point. It explains the story and possible perpetrators yet gives nothing further. I don’t get it. Wikipedia could have provided the same info.

    Excellent
I enjoyed the podcast very much. Thank you.

    Stretched out for no reason
Overall case details weren’t that complicated, and the content didn’t justify the number of episodes. Mediocre and overly drawn out. Also disappointing that they didn’t do more pushing/investigation to actually move the case forward.

CBC does outstanding podcasts and this is another well written and produced product. Whenever I want to spend time and be totally engrossed and engaged in a story I am able to turn to CBC and find exactly what I am looking for. Thank you for a great listening experience.

    Weak Podcast
Pretty weak podcast. Nothing was revealed that was already know and no in-depth investigative work was done. I think this podcast was made just for the sake of making a podcast with minimal effort.

    Great reporting once again
It’s good storytelling about a sad circumstance. I really liked they way the writers brought “place” into the story. When they explain how windy it can be and the terrain, the rural setting, it really adds to the understanding of why this took so long to resolve.

    Could have been good
I was interested in the story but after the first episode the interviews were replayed multiple times. I stopped in the 3rd episode because nothing new was being said.

    Great storytelling
This is a non lascivious recounting of an incident that has been unresolved, and deserves this attention. The critical reviews, quite frankly, are childish. It is not the job of the creators and production staff to solve this case and give a signed sealed ending. Grow up!

    Very disappointing nothing gets resolved
I thought the whole point of this podcast was to reveal the truth. Instead it’s basically a bunch of interviews with people who knew the victims. The man who obviously did the murders who was stalking the womanVictim gets off the hook because his friend say he could’ve never done that. Overall I wish I had not listened to this.It begins with a cliffhanger it ends with no satisfaction It’s obvious who killed the couple but back in those days people got away with a lot more.

    Not Bad
am intriguing series I wish there were more episodes and more investigative aspects more than a retelling and interviews but overall not a bad true crime doc

    boring
You learn in the first episode that two people were shot and killed. Every episode after that the narrator speaks with everyone under the sun, goes down the typical rabbit holes only to come up empty handed save for the cliffhanger moment... that she’ll tell you about on the next episode. The whole story should’ve been told in one 60 min podcast.

Overall I liked the podcast, although the journalist doing the interviews, her tone was very annoying. In one episode where she kept replying “yup, yup, yup” I couldn’t stand it I had to forward it.

    Bewildering...
How was there no DNA evidence with two bodies dragged to a trailer? I realize the winds were extreme, but can wind blown away blood and fingerprints!?

Respectful Examination of a Double Murder
The pacing is measured and mature, with a great deal of respect paid to the victims and those who loved them. Each episode is 20 minutes or less. This isn’t for people who prefer sugar-rush crime shows that movie at the breakneck pace of a Jason Bourne film... this is a story about two real people who lost their lives, and it moves with a slower pace befitting the material. The interactive timeline on the CBC website enhances the experience here as well — highly recommended.

41 minutes have passed and nothing to hear if you're looking for real crime story
This is soooo dull and 43 minutes passed. At 43 minutes it's announced, out of the blue and without reasoning. They determined the was NO EVIDENCE. Waht??? How did that happen. So they just move on now to motive. So I wrote this review and didn't submit it. Now I'm editing to merely say that this are super sanitized and just some story. No depth, nothing to think about, and chopped up into 6 episodes just to do commercials. I may just finish but I'm not coming back unless it's true crime. I listen to many podcasts and especially true crime. Sword and Scale is my favorite, actually. This is the opposite of that podcast; it's more like Andy of Mayberry storytime. They haven't said how the couple was murdered, yet. There is no meat to the story. Nothing for the reader to think about when it comes to this old crime. Just everything going so slow. I personally want to listen to at least a 50 minutes crime episode. I'm going to change the rating to a 2. Since I haven't heard the last end there maybe hope. I will edit this review if my opinon changes. This is announced right off as an unsolved crime and it is blatantly obvious why that it is.

    Worth a listen
This tragic story was told very well. Worth a listen, I hope they produce more.

    Love the story
Can’t wait for the next installment.

    Short story no conclusion
Story could have been told in one episode instead of 6 very short ones. Good delivery, good sound quality but very anticlimactic.

    Nicely done
