I love these girls, but they’ve become so unrelatable with their constant wellness and identity outside of motherhood convos. I’m not taking much advice when you’re influencers with stay at home husbands. Nothing wrong with it, I just can’t hear about it every episode.

Love this podcast but can’t listen to them debate how to pronounce February one more time.

I was excited when I saw the Motherhood update being a mom myself but wow awful. First off half the episode was then talking about social media. The rest was odd… Jaci doesn’t seem honest about motherhood and was dancing around her feelings and not sharing despite the title. It was also obvious Chelsea picked up on that and was trying to idk make her feel better. It was odd and as a fellow mom please be real. This isn’t easy but not being honest when you have a platform is disappointing. Chelsea shares more but even so their whole brand is just too curated and fake. I won’t be listening anymore.

All I can think about is how much water you guys waste with your constant Chat GPT consumption. Please look up how those systems are sucking the planet dry before using them for every single moment of the day. It drives me insane when I hear you talk about using it every episode.

They talk about the SAME topics every single week?? Every week it’s just their “life updates” from girls that don’t seem to really have a life. Their “story” episodes are maybe like actually 10% stories, ads, and then an hour of rambling about nonsense. Chelsey never stops going on tangents and she sounds so uneducated I’m sorry. I used to look forward to this podcast every week and now it’s so disappointing.

Been listening for so long and just now leaving a review! I LOVE having a podcast that feels like chatting with friends. My go-to for driving to work and leaving all that ish behind me when I come home ;) Been following Jaci and Chelsea on YouTube for years, and they have the best content and are actually so funny. For a girl who always wanted a big sis, they bring big sister/bestie vibes in the best way🫶🏼

I feel like I’m losing actual brain cells listening. Didn’t use to be this way, but lately it’s been real bad. Honestly I think it was Jaci admitting she has never ran a mile that lost me for good. Lol goodbye. Also, not them making “being postpartum” their ENTIRE personalities for the last year. Ladies, I’m 3 months PP it’s not that serious. Please stop talking about listening to David Goggins, Chelsea… it’s cringe girl ;) Bye bye to WWS for me… honestly, catch me over at his podcast from here on out. I need more.

I used to love to listen but now I had to unfollow. I found myself skipping through several minutes of every episode the last couple months. The rambling without being able to sick to any one subject honestly gives me a headache and I cannot keep up. The episode titles are literally 1/3 of the episode I just can’t listen anymore.

The people leaving bad reviews are being far too harsh! Fun light hearted podcast where it feels like you’re hanging out with your friends🫶🏻🫶🏻

I loved this podcast for years and never missed an episode. I’m so sad to see it go downhill and it feels like they aren’t listening to feedback.

i’ve been listening for YEARS, but i miss when they actually read the story submissions. the first 40 min is random rambling and ads… the last few episodes have been so boring. we need something exciting again.

I have listened to every single episode for YEARS but I’m sad to say I’m unsubscribing and won’t be listening anymore. I also rarely write reviews but it needs to be said, this most recent episode (2/28) was so beyond out of touch and uninteresting and it’s been going this direction for a while. I love Chelsey and she’s actually funny and vulnerable and talks about real life problems but Jaci is off the charts tone deaf to real life. I hope they’ll take the recent feedback and make some changes to the content for the better. I feel like they used to do more prep and research and actually care about the episodes but now they just ramble about their influencer lifestyles.

Love this podcast and have nothing negative to say them as people! Unfortunately I have unfollowed Jaci on instagram due to her account being 90% ads so I listen to the podcast to get a sense of realness from the girls but it seems like every episode lately has been 50 min of the same life update. I love life updates but not when it’s consumed over 3/4 of the episode entirely. Miss the older episodes 💔

I’ve been a long time listener but recently (like over the past 6 months) have felt like the episodes were giving me . The girls are talking about the same things in every episode, the life updates are so repetitive but seem to take more and more time each episode, I just can’t be bothered to listen to them go on and on about stuff I don’t care about.

Used to be a fan, now nothing but a long ramble, shallow discussions & putting out the work just for the sake of ads.

I hate to leave this review, because I’ve listened to this podcast for over 5 years at this point, but I don’t know how much more I can handle. I know the nickname for listeners is “Vapid Valley Girls” but the pod has truly turned beyond vapid. Jaci constantly talks over Chelsey, especially is she’s saying something real or potentially controversial in any way. She also seems incredibly out of touch with reality. The content is rarely new or thought provoking- on the rare occasions that it is I *love* it. I think they’re both funny and I adore their friendship, I enjoy laughing with them. But the podcast just isn’t what it used to be, or what I think it could be. I think growth and change in a podcast that’s as been around as long as WWS is important, but this pod is changing for the worse. I miss the realness (especially from Jaci, I do feel like Chelsey comes across as more authentic), I miss funny conversations and insightful comments about real life (or even in the stories or about pop culture when they were genuine takes and not just the same recycled tik tok sayings over and over again), and feeling like I was chatting with my besties about life, culture, etc. I feel like the podcast at this point is just ads, internet brain rot, and carefully curated updates. I hope the girls are able to take the constructive criticism I’m seeing in the other reviews as well, because I truly believe in their ability to have a wonderful podcast again. Even if I stop listening, I still look forward to their other content and wish them the best.

I have loved this podcast for years now. However their rambling in no direction combined with super long ads is making each episode unenjoyable. I wouldn't mind long ads and rambling if the episodes where MUCH longer. Preferably 1.5-2 hours. Overall the podcast has gone down hill.

This podcast has gone majorly downhill. It seems like no prep work has gone into it before any episodes and it’s a lot of rambling. I’ve tried to keep listening but can barely get through half an episode!

Previously a 5 star review. It’s very obvious the lack of effort they put into episodes and they sadly sound very entitled and not kind like they used to. I hope things turn around!!!

It’s so boring.

I have been a loyal listener of WWS since they started. During the pandemic when I was lonely it was so nice to feel like part of their girl chats. I remember them speaking up for the Black Lives Matter movement. I deeply respected both of them and looked forward to ‘hanging out’ with them on my commutes on Tuesday mornings. I have bought merch from them that I treasured. But recently hearing Jaci actively talk over Chelsey when she was trying to reveal her disgust with the news in relation to a certain reelection and how it was increasing her anxiety lately made me icked out. Chels was saying the vibes lately are rancid and Jaci just started saying phrases like “so complicated” and “such a divisive time”. I get that speaking up for what is right is risky for any business, but I never expected it from them.

I used to love this podcast and listen to it all the time and recommend it to my friends. Now I haven’t listened to a full episode in months. It’s painfully boring and often uneducated and out of touch. The life updates now are boring and add nothing of value. The adds take up so much time and the actual content of the episode is like 10 minutes at the end and often it’s poorly researched or sandwiched between way too much of the girls unnecessary ranting about things. I used to love it but it feels very lazy and pointless now.

I am begging you gals to take some consideration into what your fans want. I used to listen religiously but the rambling life updates about absolutely nothing are getting old. I used to love the story episodes and now I find it frustrating when you just tack on 3 write-ins after 50 minutes of word vomit and lengthy ads. It’s extremely evident that no planning or effort goes into the pod anymore and it’s sad. I get you have both grown a lot since the pod started but “enjoying this new chapter of life” is not an excuse to do your job poorly.

I don’t look forward to the episodes AT ALL anymore.. This used to be my favorite podcast. I would literally listen to these episodes every single day. It has just changed so much for the worse. I wish they did LONGER story episodes.

i used to love this podcast + the girls but i can’t listen anymore. every time i try to put on an episode i get so bored or frustrated and have to turn it off. i used to enjoy and defend the life updates, and i don’t mind when it kinda just feels like a conversation between friends—but there has to be some sort of substance to make it worth spending an hour of my day listening to. the episodes come across as lazy and unplanned. if you don’t want to do a story episode then please stop doing them. having 3 stories at the end of an episode is pointless. i also hate the misinformation. when you have thousands of people listening, you have a responsibility to not be giving out false info. this is the absolute bare minimum!! it is shocking how little general knowledge these girls have and the lack of drive towards actual self improvement or wanting to use their platform for good frustrates me. my biggest issue is the constant negativity. every episode is just them ranting about the most privileged stuff and complaining about influencers receiving criticism. they ALWAYS defend every influencer they talk about. sorry if i don’t feel bad for people getting justified criticism??? idk if anything will get chelsey and jaci to make an effort on this podcast again but until they do it is not worth listening to. also their advice is awful and they don’t put in any effort towards giving actionable or useful advice, it’s usually just chelsey defending some random mother in law

I’ve been a listener for four years, but recently, the show has lost its spark. It feels like they're phoning it in and not putting as much effort or thought into the podcast as they used to. Even Jaci and Chelsea seem disengaged when recording. Other Dear Media podcasts are doing more and keeping me entertained, so I’ve decided to move on from WWS.

I loved WWS and honestly as much as the girlies love to hate their old eps those were my fav. Actual story times from listeners, actual advice, actual effort. Bring back more talks about home decor, morning rituals, manifesting, hobbies, and also sprinkle in chats about motherhood. Pls.

What We Said is one of the highlights of my week! I love how these girls are 100% themselves and their personalities and voices are so fun to listen to! Love their perspective that they bring to each episode and I feel like I’m just chatting with my best friends every time I listen!

Love love love the girls, but it’s been cringy trying to listen to the recent episodes. It’s a LOT of Chelsea venting / rambling. Often times she loses her train of thought too. I wish the ladies could reel it in & remember to include the audience or at least speak in a way the audience can follow. Again, love Chelsea but her speaking can be stressful to listen to with the stop-and-go pace, all of the “you know,” and the rabbit trails.

This is truly my favorite podcast but I’ve noticed the chatty has taken away from other topics. It feels like story episodes end of having 2 stories :/ every week feels like a repeat catch up

I have been a listener since their very first episode but just am not into it anymore. The topics feel pointless and unrelatable. Bummer. I really can’t listen to another episode about a junk drawer or their newest purchases

used to love this podcast but now it just seems like they do not even care about the segments and cannot handle criticism. i understand some people love to listen to the random segway’s but i used to listen to this podcast primarily for the TITLE. episodes seem to be redundant and repetitive now.

The podcast is Chelsey RAMBLING and Jaci going “yes” “mhmm” “yes” “I agree” Also you guys rambled on about eating sugar and treats for almost 20 mins … just get to the segment

^ but I wanted to add to the conversation.. I was an OG listener and listened almost religiously..however the last couple of months they seem out of touch. There’s been a shift. The vibes are simply different and more chit chat. I love a good chat, but every week as of late has been not about the topic until the last twenty minutes. The last one I genuinely liked was the Halloween one. I also don’t necessarily need them to be political either, however, to not mention anything and continue as though some of their women listeners/followers are not hurting and then to continue pushing out links…simply was not it. I understand that they have deals with certain brands, but to act as though nothing will change.. Similar podcasts to theirs did mention it, and I wish they would’ve acknowledged it, even in the slightest.

Everyone in the reviews is talking about how “this podcast has gone down hill” or “not the same girlies they used to be” but i completely disagree, they are entering a new life stage and ofc are not going to be the same as they were 5 years ago! Also if yall dont like it, hop off! You need to stop the hate

Wanted to leave a positive review after reading some complaints. I’m a newer fan that’s been tuning in every episode for the last year. The girls are very entertaining and make it feel like you’re friends catching up. The “chit chat” format is really nice as I’m a young mom working from home and don’t get to socialize much on week days. ALSO the themed seasonal episodes are especially funny and heartwarming — I’ve gotten many ideas from the submissions they read. Pregnancy/postpartum brain is so real that first year and I think everyone needs to cut them some slack while they adjust and rediscover themselves. You’re doing a great job ladies. I’ve been listening since 2021, and I like the stories, but most of them are read after 45 minutes of life updates and other pop culture moments that aren’t that interesting. Also, I get the girls gotta make money, but Gatorade? Lipton? Tinder? I feel like these are sell outs and don’t reflect the girlies true values. Would love to hear more about in depth topics like true feelings on motherhood, relationships, lives post Mormanism, or maybe just some more stories and advice episodes!

Unfortunately, the show has gone downhill over the last several months? It used to be my favorite. Now, I tune in every couple of weeks and find myself tuning out within the first 10 minutes. Hopefully the girls can get back on track.
