!great show. Good subjects. Love Derecks voice.

This is the best paranormal podcast by far. I can’t wait every week for the new episodes. I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this is my favorite by far!

These are my favorite type of podcast, with real people telling their stories, but some are pretty meh. Like, “Dude, that wasn’t that weird.” But the fake creepy voice of the host is dumb. Especially if you go back and listen to the early episodes when he was just talking normally, the contrast is funny. I found this pod because the host was a guest on another pod, and he talked normally then as well. From the reviews it sounds like some folks love this podcast, but for me this is not essential listening.

Hi Derek and team! Thank you for the show. I can tell that you all pour your everything into this program. It’s told with such care. Derek keeps a very neutral and level headed opinion about the submissions, which keeps all of us in the great mindset of staying open minded and considering all things possible (sometimes it may be scientifically or real-world provable, not spooky…which is okay). I also appreciate Derek’s way of choosing which calls to display, as nearly every person (in my opinion) sounds absolutely genuine, believable. I’m happy to say that I have listened to every episode. Some of them multiple times, as a lot of your fans have. I am so grateful for this show. Often times it has been the highlight of my week, entertainment-wise! I hope you all have a long running show, with continued and growing success and money too! You deserve to get paid well for doing what you love and for helping us all love it so much!

First, I enjoy the show overall. I like that experiencers have a place to call and just vent their stories, and have something of a support system from other listeners/experiencers. What I don’t like is after nearly each story the host, Derek, try’s everything in his power to make their story seem mundane. Right down to “ball lightning” explanations. I don’t even mind the voice, but listening to a sinister, spooky voice explain away someone’s story in a mundane way just seems silly. Some callers are suspect, like the ones who write their story down horror novel style, instead of just recounting it naturally as they go. But the genuine ones I doubt they call in just to have their experience explained away each and every time by the host, when I’m sure they’ve done some kind of research into their own experiences. I know I have when I’ve had an experience. Just minor gripes to an overall good show. Just give them the space to tell their stories, and stop trying to give them the swamp gas explanation afterward dude.

This is the #1 pod I listen too. It’s fantastic!! I love to hear all the true paranormal stories and how Derek gives possible rational explanations. It’s like I’m sitting around telling stories with my friends. I hope this pod goes on forever!

I have just recently discovered your podcast and I can’t stop listening. I’ve got quite a few stories of my own which I plan on calling in soon. From ghost experiences, premonitions and alien encounter. I’ve had some interesting experiences. Keep up the great work. So much more happens than we know of and your show definitely gets them out there. Thank you

I’ve been a faithful listener from way back. Before the podcast changed its name to Monsters Among Us. I have listened to the entire library twice and it never disappoints. The Doppelgänger stories and the creepy Moose Lady are ones to savor. Thanks to the entire team for their work and dedication. -db

This is a must have for any occult lovers podcast collection. I appreciate Derek’s open-minded curiosity with the paranormal AND his willingness to try and offer logical explanations for the listeners to consider. He does it in a way that still gives respect to the callers and all of their experiences. As a creative, I also really admire witnessing him perfect his craft as the show has progressed. It was great from the beginning, but he truly just keeps getting better at his hosting role. I’m a big fan! You will be too.

I love this podcast. I used to listen to Coast to Coast for awhile. They get too much into politics and I didn’t care to listen to those opinions. I had read about MAU in comments on a Coast to Coast post. There’s something for everyone in MAU. If the story being told isn’t your cup of tea, you can fast forward to the next. I have a commute each day and this podcast has been helping me navigate it since last fall. I’m grateful to it. I love ear marking the stories told about occurrences near where I live and near where my nephews live. We love to be creeped out during our adventures together. Those of you who keep commenting about Derek’s voice, give a guy a break. He’s entertaining you, the voice adds to the ambience and effect of the show. I like it.

Ever since I listened to your interview with Rachel Dratch and Irene Bremis on Woo Woo (May 15th episode), I have been binging your podcast. I started at the very beginning, and I am working my way through to the newer episodes. I am totally fascinated by all of the stories of things I didn’t even know existed. I love that you are giving an outlet to those who have had unexplained encounters and can maybe find people with similar experiences. Keep up the good work.

I’m so glad I found this podcast! It’s so entertaining and informative for all things paranormal. The stories are compelling and I like how Derek engages with them, applying common sense and potentially bringing another perspective. Hope to start patreon soon.

I’m so happy I found this podcast. It’s one of the best for all paranormal, weird and just right out strange stories. I just wish I would’ve found it sooner.

It’s been a decent show for several years. Lately there are ads after every other story. It’s dumb.

Love the intro music and production quality. I can tell Derek puts a lot of effort and time into his production. Love that he offers logical explanations for some experiences without discrediting the caller. My favorite podcast out there thanks so much for creating this platform for all things creepy!

This is the best podcast across all the realm , do yourself a favor and stay til’ the very end of each episode and binge on ! Kinda weird how the host wants to sound like Batman or something, he alters his voice but other than that it’s a good show

This is a great podcast. I love the idea of having people call in to tell of their experiences. This podcast feels genuine and has so much culture of America within every story. Great podcast! Derek is fantastic and the stories really make you think! Since listening to this podcast I make it a point to watch the sky and be aware of my surroundings constantly.

This is great podcast especially when I work out. If I listen to music while working out, im constantly looking at my watch and time seems to slow down. When I listen to this podcast, im work out and most times listen to two in a row without looking at the time. Besides, what better evidence of something greater than us than ghost and monsters!

I listen to an episode a day M-F on my way to and from work! I drive on old backroads to work so it really sets the scene and helps me wake up. Can’t get enough! Love from Midwest IL!

Best podcast to listen to strange, weird, and scary experiences. In addition, Nights at the Round Table episodes are hilarious. For example, La Llorona, and The Meg episodes. “Make episodes bigger!”

If it’s not a regular episode it’s terrible!!! The main episode are pretty good but the interviews are terrible

It is an excellent podcast about user-submitted stories of the paranormal, extraterrestrial, and other oddities for those who, like me, are interested in these topics. The host, Derek’s commentary, is kept brief and relevant on each submission. It offers possible explanations while not dismissing the submitter's experiences. I recommend this to anyone interested in these subjects as it is engaging, especially in later seasons where each submission is in the submitter's voice.

I’ve been listening for a few years. Hardly ever a dull moment. Listening to season 16/25, I can’t stand the new host- he sounds like he has had too much coffe😁 hopefully you will come back soon… JK

I came here from Bigfoot Collector’s Club after hearing Derek on one of their episodes. This podcast is WAY up on my favorites list now and I’ve been binging old episodes between new ones. I am always enthralled by the amazing listener stories and the show notes are always chock full of extra goodies to dive into. Well worth a listen!

I have no idea how I found this podcast, but I listen to it daily. I love the stories and Derek’s soothing Batman voice (as my daughter calls him)! Check it out I highly recommend.

I love this stuff, I’ve been binging on n off I found you a couple years ago. I’ve only my siting once on your podcast in 2019. She was from Long Island and she saw multiple dots. I saw three dots( like the space ball ship, but only the dot in a row. It was the weekend, cause I was at work and saw the light. I thought it was an led light cause we’re losing amber light. Another story there, but three dots were there I reached in my pocket at 4:12am only to watch the right dot turn into the center dot and then the left dot to do the same, and then just disappear ,that’s it Marlon

I’ve listened to all free stuff and some pay but todays was a very special episode. He starts with enjoying to produce and I see why now. A very fun and varied end to the season. Great stuff Derek and company really enjoyed this season and can’t wait for next
