    This podcast misses the point
I heard a lot about how Kamala Harris seems to be missing something, but not how Trump is a whack job and will end people’s freedom.

I never write reviews, but this one deserves support. Smart clean to the point. I’ve really enjoyed many of these episodes. Thank you.

    Stop interrupting!!
Why does she keep interrupting her guests?? Don't invite them on if you're going to keep interrupting. The content is also not engaging. I'll stick with the NPR trumps trials podcast.

    Phenomenal show. (Let them cook!)
This is my favorite political podcast. By far. If she’d stop interrupting everyone, 5/5 stars.

No legal knowledge, wrong information given
These are reporters analyzing legal issues, and it’s clear none of them has legal training. I’m a criminal lawyer and listening to this podcast I have identified several incorrect statements from the participants. Voir Dire does not mean “to speak the truth”, despite the panelists’ assertion to the contrary. VERDICT comes from the Latin for to speak the truth. Voir Dire is French in origin. VOIR means “to see” and DIRE means “to speak” or “to say”. It is the lawyer’s opportunity to see and speak to jurors. Furthermore, the US Supreme Court absolutely can overturn state criminal convictions if they run afoul of the US Constitution. The federal constitution sets a floor for rights and procedures that all states must follow. Don’t hire people to speak on this show if they don’t know what they’re talking about.

    No Diversity of Opinion
These people are so invested in TDS they cannot see past their own opinions. They cannot see that their beliefs and opinions are not shared by others in this country. This is what the Main Stream Media has become, little or nothing about fact and almost everything about their partisan opinions. What a disappointment.

    Fabulous
Seriously good, quick witted and relevant. Also: how great is Libby Casey!? As I recall she was on the local NPR affiliate in Fairbanks Alaska years ago, tromping through snow, ice, and subzero temperatures to secure interviews… Now with the recreations- she gets us so close to the story! Thanks for the deep dives into the daily news (such as it is) in such a researched and dynamic way.

    Pause, listen, speak
These people interrupt one another constantly. It is bewildering.

    Ad about guns no thanks
The podcast was ok. Nothing more interesting than feeds you can find online or NPR coverage. Ad for concealed carry. Website references morons like Sean Hannity. “Be best”, guys.

the hypocrisy. i remember in his speech after the horrible evacuation of afghanistan this year where biden said we/US aren’t nation builders. we had a mission to get bin laden and we did and now were done. where in the clips of him in your podcast from the past say the opposite. biden is the best the dems can do? trump is the best the gop can do? this country is in bad shape. grrrr blahhh

    Tune out.
Listened from the beginning. It is now ear garbage.

Should be called the “Anti-Trump Podcast”
Anyone else notice how they changed their intro after Trump left office? No longer exploring the powers and limitations of the president (even with plenty to report on with Biden), instead it’s just the government in general. A left-wing nonsense political podcast with nothing useful to say

    Afghanistan series has been excellent!
This series has been a phenomenal production from start to finish.

    Terrible Audio Editing
I’ve listened to this podcast from the initial launch, and while a little dull, I’ve enjoyed the informative and relevant content. That said, the audio editing (especially this past year) has been okay at best, and horrible at times. I’m talking wild fluctuations in audio, overlapping tracks, strange cuts, etc… I get it, these pods are made fast and mistakes happen. But like I said, I’ve been listening from the beginning and this is a consistent annoyance. To the point where I’m no longer interested in the content.

Can you cover the Cuba situation please?!
Hi, for many years, Cuba has been untouchable from US intervention. Why is it? Can the US president intervene in the Cuban crisis… Can He Do That? Can Biden send warships to put pressure on Cuba for change? I would you to hear what you can tell us about this. Thank you!

    What makes a good President
On what planet does it make sense to have a conservative hack like Amity Shlaes to opine on Presidents? One need only listen to her take on Carter versus Trump to know she’s a lousy economist as well as lousy historian. Carter inherited economic problems, stagflation started under Ford, and sacrificed his Presidency to the Fed to wring inflation out of the economy. On the other hand Trump inherited a juggernaut and coasted with it until his incompetence inevitably resulted in a worse economy than it should have been during the pandemic. Oh, then there’s the little thing about tens if not hundreds of thousands of excess deaths from mismanagement and politicization of COVID-19. That Trump was 41 and not dead last was a gift. One of the worst episodes of this generally good podcast.

    Omg the loud ads
Love this podcast but the loud ads with bells and screaming are jolting. Will unsubscribe if they don’t her fixed.

    Tough to listen
The host is one of those people whose “s” sound hurts my ears. Plus she talks so fast.

    Every question is leading, why???
Why be biased? It funny that democrats don’t learn. Trump would have dug himself into a hole but dems exaggerate And lie and ask leading questions. They dont practice what they preach. I am not a republican. I most vote dem but this is so biased. Are the dems really fighting Fox with their type of war? Dems need to be dems, not try to lie. This is one-sided. This could have been serious and really come out on top but lies are visible. If unemployment goes up, its Trumps fault. If unemployment goes down, its Obama left over (3 yrs later)

    Great pod, Ads too loud.
I love this podcast but the audio mixing is poor… The ads come on at a much higher volume than the podcast

    Very informative
I love this podcast, it is smart and fair. I do not agree with the negative reviews.

    Great so far

    Unbalanced
During the Trump presidency they hit hard every week examining the actual powers and extent of presidential powers. Now it is just a love fest for the policies of the democrats and doesn’t look at all into the actions of the Biden and whether his actions are appropriate.

    Annoying commercial
Loud, annoying Auto commercial. Comes on so loud it is upsetting. Other than that I enjoyed the podcasts. Thanks, DR. GC What is your editing schedule? Interruption during guest speakers is annoying and just rude to Guest. Loud, inconsistent commercials. Please do something more than allow commercials to interrupt programming. Dr. GC Annoying, LOUD commercial interruptions. Will not be listening anymore. Dr. GC

Applying the criminal label to President Biden?
Appalled that you would continue on under a title referencing America’s first kleptocracy. I’ll be IMMEDIATELY deleting the pod and studiously avoiding your reporting in future. If there is an award for “both-sidesism” you are a shoo-in.
  • fishyrainn
    Great podcast, mostly bipartisan
The perfect podcast for new learners in the sector as well as more experienced people as well in order to grasp the current conversations in the industry!

Good for deep constitutional dives and discussion
I’m a fan of this podcast; each episode delves into the legal/procedural/article II authority invoked by the president and executive branch wrt a current action or policy initiative. In presenting novel questions within a broader contextual and historical framework, this pod offers listeners a more nuanced perspective as to the scope of and precedence for such actions and how previous administrations addressed similar controversies and questions of constitutional authority. The podcast doesn’t present a biased or leftist or particularly leaning account of the facts or issues they cover - if anything the show trends towards the dry, veridical.. I dunno what’s up with all the odd, angst-fest hate-reviewing on here; those sentiments read as bizarre and unnecessarily impassioned over-reactions to such a non offensive, apolitical news program. When I’m not feeling something I usually change to another channel and move on... shrug emoji. Anyway - if you’re not troll, check it out! Recommended!

    Just more typical Trump hating
We don’t have enough Trump hating opinions so we need more from this rag of a Jeff Bezos publication.

    Insightful and informative
I enjoy both the content and the production quality of this podcast. The host’s style of Q & A reporting helps unpack the troubling behavior of our President through interviews with legal, historical and policy experts in a digestible way.

    Irony
Schiff’s Russian claims brought down the Biden clan. Schiff claimed Bobulinski was a Russian asset, and that is the only reason he came forward. Gotta love how the left eats itself.

    Interesting reading the reviews
The pro people are spending time and thought in their posts while the 1star group mostly is giving short butt hurt “you aren’t being FAIR to my guy!” responses.
  • stefaaaaaaanie
    Amazing and informative
Not anti trump just point out the facts. Most of the facts are considered negative because Trump does negative things. Unreal times we are living in.

    Perfect!
The episodes are the perfect length where you get all the info you need and more, yet not super long. Sometimes I think the host talks a little bit fast, but all in all I love it and it often makes me feel better. Even if some crazy stuff is happening, I can be informed and sometimes it helps me understand what I can do. Big fan!

    PEAD
I love your podcast!! So informative. Please discuss what PEAD is and what Trump could do. There was a short episode about this on CBS Sunday Morning. Thank you! Keep your episodes coming!
  • fwhite992
    Poor use if a platform
If you’re going to present information to listeners, give to us on equal terms in regards to the subject. Kyle Rittenhouse was defending himself. Clearly seen in video. He was there to help not protest and the protesters didn’t like that. And how do you know he was a Trump supporter? Feed your listeners unbiased information and let them decide

    Great
Great podcast but today’sreporter Ashley Parker has a bad vocal fry. Please please no vocal fry: this is just so distracting that I cannot listen to what is said.
  • Hrm77
    Title
The title of the podcast, can HE do that, is outdated. I wanted my son to listen to this because the topic is fantastic, but for a younger person (anyone really) to hear the president referred to only has a “he” further perpetuates the stereotype that women can’t or shouldn’t hold the highest office. With so many women running and with Hillary Clinton receiving the nomination, the title should have a pronoun that doesn’t put a label on which gender can serve as President.
  • DanielleFinlay
    Typical Mainstream News
Not covering the whole story as usual. More opinion based than factual.

    Needs more energy
I want so badly to like this podcast because I support the Post and believe in this show’s stance and messages. But the hosts and reporters unfortunately sound flat and un-energetic at their best and inexperienced and meandering at their worst. In an audio format, the delivery is just as important as the content (shame though that may be). I’d love to check back in a few months and see if things have improved, because I really do stand with these folks.
