RJ x 10^6Can't write enough good about SPYIt's great. They're great. What if two of your friends were gifted comedians and kept having you over to meet more gifted comedians? This is practically that.
-
BluBacCuttBecky Johnson has a Heart of Full of Wild TubersWhat a funny and beautiful episode. Listen, listen, listen. Thanks for doing this one, guys.
-
Super-secret CylonFreakin’ hilariousThe two hosts have an incredible comedy chemistry, and a genuine warmth that makes the show a feel good treat that I look forward to every week. I listen to a fair number of comedy podcasts, and I consistently get the most “laughing out loud to myself” and if I’m in public “concerned that people are noticing me laughing like a crazy person” moments from this one. Bonus: Tons of insights into obscure Canadian media and cultural phenomena, plus awesome bonus content if you support the MaxFun Network.

Esme KatzenMeow!I love your show! Such a treasure. You guys and your guests are some of the funniest people on the planet. I crack up out loud each episode. Love looking at life through this show!

Brudd3788Jesse Thorn looks like he smells like fartsLiterally he tried to ruin this show. You have to try so hard to be bad at this show.

LeahM83Responsible for basically all my knowledge of CanadaThis has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts, especially the Overheards segment. I started by listening to all the Paul F. Tompkins episodes (since I recognized that name as a US listener), and by now I’m almost through the entire back catalogue! Thank goodness for the member bonus content, I could happily listen to Graham and Dave talk about literally anything— and by now they pretty much have 😆
-
DraemonixStating the obviousIt isn’t a true crime or DnD podcast, it’s two guys, one an active comedian and the other a former comedian, just chatting. Most times they have a guest as well. Idk their early first-starting-out stuff but with a podcast format like this you really don’t need to know the in depth history like with other podcasts. It feels timeless, and also dated but in a good way. For first time listeners, you should just browse the episodes till you find a guest you recognize and enjoy and go from there. Listening to this has introduced me to plenty of talented artists that otherwise I’d never known of em. It’s just two kind old white dudes that are genuinely kind and also very friggin funny. They deserve higher than the 4.9 rating at the time of posting.

Here in AtlThe BestTo the November commenter: I couldn’t disagree more. Dave and Graham are open, kind, and thoughtful. So many of their guests are LGBTQ+, and they are always listening. Best pod going. Thank you. Off I go.

-
Bananah_RFunny and perhaps life affirming?I found this podcast the way I find all the podcasts I listen to, by listening to the Paul F Tompkins guest episodes, but I fell in love with the hosts and now I listen to every episode. Graham and Dave are hilarious and more kind-spirited than a lot of American Comedians. Every episode leaves me feeling cheered up and and wishing I lived in Canada.
-
Dr Nicholas T. NameA decade plus of peak podcastingStrictly stellar programming on a weekly basis, these Canadian grownmen and their extended friendiverse always serve me up the juiciest sounds and I laugh and laugh all day
-
StevenCriminalDave and Graham are apparently racist. This show is littered with passive racism. The hosts are so ignorant about anything other than white, French people. They should stop talking about other people all together. Do not listen to this podcast if you are triggered by racist, homophobic, bigoted speech.

Abigail PerkinsWould rather sit in silenceWhen I’m at work and can’t switch through the recent podcasts on my Maxfun Boco RSS feed and SPY comes on I turn off my headphones because I’d rather spend two hours sitting in silence than have to hear junior high level jokes from yet another two middle aged white dudes with a podcast.

NorthSideOfTheTreeI Will Always Love You 🎶I don’t know much about Canada, having only visited once on a camping trip with my family. However, I feel connected to my neighbors to the north when I listen to Dave & Graham. You never know what interesting topics they’re going to discuss next but you can bet it’s going to be funny. Episode 679 is especially hilarious with a great rendition of “I Will Always Love You” sung softly and earnestly by the hosts and their charming guest. Thank you Gentlemen!!!

KsmardaI laugh more with Canadian comediansI’ve been listening to this show for years, enjoying the good natured humor of the two hosts and the interesting guests. It’s feel-good entertainment, perfect for your making commute or your chores more delightful. Another perk of the show is I know a lot more about Canadian culture. Thanks Dave and Graham!
-
Noelle WittkopMy favorite podcastDave & Graham are my emotional support Canadians and I don’t know what I would do without this podcast.

NchalapdnxvHa5718153Geezers Only!Thaks to Dave and Graham for letting us know they never read these reviews! We can write any old nonsesne in here! Sto Po Yo is my favorite podcast. I've listened to it for a decade or so. The boys are just good, clean fun. Bunch of dopes. Bunch of jerky dopes. What with their hairstyles and beards. Graham has a secret girlfriend I'm pretty sure. Trying to respect his privacy, but it's hard. Sometimes Dave sing Le Mis and it's great.
-
PG A.Not just for Canadians and/or GeezersThis is my favorite podcast. It never fails to make me laugh and lift my mood. Dave and Graham are both hilarious, and you should get to know them. As an American, I appreciate the insight into Canadian culture and the introduction to all the amazing Canadian comedians. But you could also listen to this without realizing these guys are Canadian, in case that’s a concern of yours.

Head of KrampusMy Favorite Podcast EverIts the one podcast guaranteed to make me happy. It doesn’t just make me laugh, it makes me happy. Graham and Dave have managed to crank out high quality content with unbelievable consistency since the Stone Age of podcasts. They’re the main reason I’m a maximumfun donor. If you love this show and you’re not currently a donor, please sign up. These guys deserve so much more than they get from making this show.
-
ms.northdakotaDepends on the guestGiving it five stars because when the guest is good it’s perfection, if I don’t like the guest I simply skip it. Also check out graham Clark’s stand up- hilarious

AlysheaNWBest podcast aroundI listen to A LOT of podcasts, and I love many of them... But I’ve been listening to Stop Podcasting Yourself since 2009 and it has been my favorite show that long. Every time I see it pop up in my feed on a Monday I get a big smile on my face. Graham and Dave both feel like friends, but friends who are so much funnier than anyone else I know.
-
MissTheOcean1Thank you! This is my first and favorite Canadian podcast. I’ve been listening for years as these boys slowly grow up. Take your time, guys!
-
BaronVonGordonDelightful, Funny, and Generally LightA low format show with two amazing hosts that have been friends for more than a decade and are among the originators of the podcast format. The guests are a variety of lovely comedians, musicians and the occasional family member. I've enjoyed just about every episode (about 200 down) and if you want sure fire episodes look for ones that have "returns" in the description. That being said I love love love it. Check it out.
