The Infinite Bad is a comedy-horror roleplaying podcast from Definitely Human. In the aftermath of World War I, four strangers find themselves caught in a web of evil beyond their reckoning. To survive, they must band together despite their differences and unravel the grisly mysteries that entangle them. Written and games mastered by veteran roleplayer Giorgio Mariani, The Infinite Bad is a weekly descent into horror and silliness. The nightmare begins with The Secret of Drakelow Hall.

    Absolutely amazing.
I listened to the entire podcast over the past month and it had made me feel so many different emotions alongside the players. I must admit from the end of episode eight into the first half of episode 9 I was sobbing uncontrollably. WHY HIM WHY SUCH A GOOD MAN šŸ˜«šŸ˜«šŸ˜šŸ˜ Anyways very amazing works, I found myself thinking every single character was my favorite at some point even some of DMs characters! Sebastian came out on top as my favorite. I listened to this podcast to help me learn about the way you play dnd aswell and itā€™s helped me in so many ways. All around amazing work to everyone involved. Thank you for making this! ā˜ŗļø

Iā€™d like to extend my hand to these peopleā€¦
And roll a strength check. Absolutely brilliant show. I laughed so many times over the course of this show and I was gutted that it ended. Iā€™ve heard some other improv adventures and none of them compare to this. The chemistry among those involved is just awesome and I miss it dearly. I hope they figure out a way to do another show like this again. Definitely Humanā€™s similar show Pax fortuna was good and when this crew was on there, it was great, but not as consistently funny, engaging, and tight knit at TIB. Listen, I could gush in a stream of consciousness about this show all day, just listen to it. Its amazing. Promise.

    My perfect podcast
The obligatory ā€œin my opinionā€ This podcast was absolutely amazing! The characters, the story, I wish I could forget it so I can keep hearing it for the first time. The first podcast to make me laugh out loud, not just the ā€œhehā€ , I cried, I fell in love with everything about this. Itā€™s been over a year and Iā€™m STILL looking for a podcast like this one. Unfortunately I doubt said podcast exist. 10/10 show thank you for the escape into a great story!

    Canā€™t stop laughing
I listen to this at work and have been trying to stifle my laughter all week. The story is compelling and the players are absolutely hysterical. Everything about it is so well done and I look forward to listening to the rest of their podcasts.

    An absolute romp
Positively creepy plots and hilariously wild antics. These guys know how to make compelling characters and a compelling story.

    One of my favorites!
So much personality goes into this show. Itā€™s a perfect mix of hilarious and creepy. Itā€™s inspired me to start a mystery campaign with my friends because you can tell how much fun they seem to be having! Thanks Infinity Bad cast for the compelling story and lovable characters!

    Great binge listen!
I listened to every episode in just a few days. I felt like I was on an adventure with friends, and I didnā€™t want it to end! The Definitely Human team is so incredibly talented. Canā€™t wait for Pax Fortuna to come out in a few months.

    A new favorite!
Iā€™m a fan of D&D-style podcasts. This one is especially well written and very entertaining! Notably they do a great job of balancing time spent on game mechanics and actual story/dialogue, so it never feels bogged down. I have binge listened through the first few story arcs and look forward to continuing on. I definitely recommend it.

A real play podcast that gets it right
This podcast is excellent- high quality right out of the gate without a lot of awkward fumbling. The plot is creative and detailed, but with plenty of improv elements too.

    Outstanding
The Definitely Human Productions Podcasts are all outstanding, but the Infinite Bad series is by far my favorite! It is the perfect mix of suspense and humor. Loved every episode!

    Halfway through the last episode
I canā€™t believe this. Throughout the entire story I remember thinking ā€œWow, this is insanely creative and entertaining and unique, how did they even come up with this? Wow.ā€ And now itā€™s a few minutes away from being over. Iā€™m going to miss it so much. I guess Iā€™ll have to listen to Pax Fortuna to fill the gaping, bloody wound in my chest where The Infinite Bad once was.

Can't believe how good this is.
I just recently discovered The Infinite Bad last week and blew through every episode in about 4 days. Great mix of comedy and truly mind numbing Lovecraftian Horror, and the characters have well defined growth and arcs through the series. They may not be able to roll to save their lives, but Joy, Sebastian, Dorthy, and the esteemed Mrs. Cavendish never fail to inspire laughs, pulp heroics, and a sense that no matter how dark and horrible the Infinite Bad becomes, humanity just might have the slimmest of chances to make it out alive, if not quite sane. Simply put, 5/5. It's my favorite horror podcast by far.

    Great Story Telling
Everything about this podcast is exquisite. Itā€™s a great listen even if you have never played a table top role player. I love the characters and the chemistry of actors.

    Addicting
Iā€™m surprised this podcast hasnā€™t gained more recognition itā€™s very good! I donā€™t usually write reviews but I felt this was deserving of 5 stars.

    Racist Stereotypes
I was super in love with this podcast through the 1st season, but the 2nd and 3rd seasons got increasingly racist and had some pretty awful stereotypes in them (did nobody catch that??). I haven't listened to the following seasons yet but I'm really hoping the creators won't heck up like that again.

    Absolute Favorite
Iā€™m amazed with how this podcast is the epitome of perfection! The interaction between the players is fabulously funny and the story will keep on the edge of your seats. I honesty can not go a day without listening to an episode! As a registered nurse, everything that Dorothy (an RN character) does is absolutely hilarious, and all of my future patients are going into the recovery position. Emergency?-Recovery position; Normal medical surgical condition?-Recovery position; Not even a patient?-Too bad...recovery position.

    Absolutely fantastic
To be fair itā€™s against my better judgement but, Iā€™d dare you to jump into the open maw of the occult. Join our protagonists on a world wide adventure in this post-hope generation. Be wary of what lurks just beyond the traces of light. Follow a creepy shadow child, an old British woman, a bulging muscular British man, and an American doctor as they hunt for the truth and fail to save literal anyone at all.
  • AlexisFromFargo
    Obsessed
All Definitely Human podcasts are great. The first I got into was The Bunker a few years ago. The writing is so clever and they expertly balance absurdism with fun and interesting plots, talented voice acting/editing/sound effects, and a wee bit of education slipped in there but don't tell the kids. Infinite Bad though, was like a drug to the system in how immediatly addicting and interesting it is. The episodes are so frustratingly short but I swear to god, this podcast could convince a man to step back from the ledge!
  • laumkor
    Stick with it
This one starts out more self conscious than Marscorp or The Bunker, it takes a few episodes to really take off, but when it does itā€™s just wonderful. Quite different from Definitely Humanā€™s other scripted podcasts, but just as darkly funny, with a touch of high horror here and there.
  • Malcarn
    Unique and entertaining
By far one of the most unique and entertaining pod casts available. I listen to a ton of audio drama and these guys out do themselves every season with their creative story telling. This show has actually helped my creativity while hosting my own table top adventures. Iā€™d love to sit in on a game session like this! Worth supporting the show with 5 stars and through Patron. Thanks for all your fantastic work!

    One of the best!
Among the very best actual play podcasts out there. Hilarious and suspenseful, with a tight narrative and amazing character choice. I've never listened to an actual play before where each die roll feels so meaningful to the outcome. Can't recommend enough.

    Itā€™s a roller coaster ride
I just finished the last episode and canā€™t believe itā€™s over. This is one of my favorite podcast ever! Give this story, role playing podcast a try, but know youā€™re gonna wanna binge it.
  • JohnG4
    My single favorite podcast ever.
And I listen to over 70 a week.
  • Brilliantpants
    Hilarious and compelling
This show is utterly brilliant. The players perform their characters so naturally, it's easy to forget that this is not a scripted show. The game master is brilliant, subtly steering the players, but also totally adept at responding to the choices they make. This is the only show that I listen to right away, as soon as it's released.
  • Zbolula
    Spooky, funny, and infinitely terrible
The infinite bad is joyfully hilarious and terrifying podcast on a caliber with everything definitely human has put out. Keep it up, chaps

Four idiots stumble into an occult conspiracy
With fantastic writing and even better improv, this tabletops role playing podcast is elevated into a class of its own. Great characters, great story that manages to be alternately horrifying and hilarious.
  • Funtime1010
    Fantastic Chemistry
It's rare to find a group that seems to be able to play off each other so well.
  • Tanis Halfelven
    Brilliant, bloody brilliant.
Fantastic idea, well thought out, well executed. I think Iā€™ve literally given every ā€œreal playā€ podcast of every type a try and except for the main two or three (acq inc, etc)ā€œThe Infinite Badā€ is the only one Iā€™ve enjoyed so much Iā€™ve listened to every episode. In fact Iā€™m on my second go with the release of the third season. Love it. Voice acting is amazing.
  • Hink241
    Great/Hilarious Podcast
This is one of those few podcasts that I find myself refreshing my podcast app constantly to check and see if the new episode is out. Great cast, great DM, a lot to love here
  • lastAvenger87
    I love this podcast!
Itā€™s a a great story in the form of a role-playing game, thatā€™s funny and scary all at the same time. Every episode is exciting.
  • doctorendub
    High quality role playing podcast
Great collaborative storytelling. A head (or at least a few teeth) above the rest
  • Paul Honeycutt
    Fun and Innovative DnD-style Comedy-Horror
Why was the film "Ghostbusters" so successful? It had the odd, yet compelling combination of comedy protagonists dropped into a horror setting. The Infinite Bad follows the same formula. These "four idiots" as the narration terms them, are placed in situations of well-executed horror, yet manage to make it just as hilarious as terrifying through their banter. The dim-witted giant, Sebastien St. Battenberg and the fussy Cornelia Cavendish stand out from the rest for their excellent performances.
  • EddieD1983
    Amazing podcast!
I love Mrs. Cavandish! I love all the characters in this crazy and creative story. I hope Definitely Human podcasts start to catch on and gain more attention and popularity. Love you guys!
  • Cjsancho
    Good!
It's a great fun podcast, it starts out a little awkward(you can tell they're getting the hang of it), but it's ends great and I know that it's only going to get better. Considering how fantastic the team is making this program, I know that we have yet to see the gold they're digging up for us.
  • Megadeaths
    Great role playing podcast!
Really entertaining venture from Definitely Human-- crafting a good role playing podcast that is also accessible to non-roleplayers is an art. Can't wait for more.
  • mreddiehyde
